Hey Hey Hey, congraulations to those who made it through the auditions.
We would have wanted to take everyone in for the production itself but there is a lack of space at Jubilee hall itself to hold that many people.

But.....if you would still like to help out for the prduction itself, do feel free to approach our counter staff to enquire. We would be more than happy to have you to help out.

As for the rehearsal dates and timings for those who got through the auditions, we will be contacting you soon via email and/or phone.

Synopsis

EVOKE
A DANCE MUSICAL BY STUDIO WU

You only live once but if you work it right, once is enough..."
Evoke , a dance musical, depicts the scenarios in life that will evoke your emotions – rage, sadness & happiness.

Life is unpredictable. But sometimes, this is exactly what we need to feel alive. Sometimes, we need these flashes of anger and extreme sadness to live, because anything less dramatic just makes our mere existence - forgettable. In the rage scene, two brothers fight for wealth and power. Greed strains their relationships and ruin their family’s legacy of wealth.

Sadness is a part of being human. Sadness is the opposite of love.
Scarlet, the abused wife in this scene, find true love in the most unimaginable situation. Is love enough to keep them together? Are they destined to be together in the first place? Unrequited love is the catalyst that spurs the most masochistic thoughts in ourselves. We indulge in the little fantasies and heartache that somehow, legitimize our sorrows.

Happiness is simple. It can be a smile from within and a good hearty laugh. An established businessman, Mr Goo, will cheer you up on a tour to his entertainment empire – Crazy Cow Production, which will feature many international and local stars in Singapore. Many people miss their share of happiness; not because they never found it, but because they didn't stop to enjoy it.
